"I installed pm2checkout v2.1a and had significant issues with my shopping cart. Particularly being forwarded to the cookie_usage.php page.
Also, I am not crazy about having to force cookie usage as not all customers use cookies.
This is an alternative to pm2checkout v2.1a It achieves most of its goals with a much simpler model.
It includes:
- simplification of the payment method page; eliminating credit card information fields 2checkout will ask for anyway
- eliminated the validity checking that was required by those fields not in use
- adds credit card grpahics like v2.1a to eliminate the confustion of what 2 checkout is for customers
- eliminates the shipping information on the 2checkout screens
It consists of changes to existing files in M2.2. The only new files are cridt card graphics.
Installation:
- Replace the existing oscommerce M2.2 pages with those in the zip file in the same directory in which they appear
- add the graphics in the zip in the directory in which they appear
That's it.
If you want to see the detail of changes made, search on "// DML CHANGES" AND "/* DML CHANGES" in the files themselves. It's mostly commented out code in the right spots." |
