"Overview
This contribution allows randomization of the products shown in the New Products box on the main screen and category screens. This was done to allow more than the last 9 new products to be displayed.
Configuration
This uses two existing Configuration Values
Selection of Random New Products:
Sets how many of the most recent new product entries are queried. This can vary based on how far back you want to go to display new products.
New Products Module:
Sets how many random new products are displayed on screen. This is typically 9.
