"JustOneAttribute by SuperSewist AKA Carol Hawkey, Wyoming, USA.
My first contrib as a newbie in osC & php !
this was driving me crazy to see the drop-down box
when there was only one attribute.
Now it may seem silly as if there's only one, it should just be described with the product,
and there's no need for an attribute in the first place.
BUT
if it is a *download*, it must be designated as a version/attribute attached to the product,
in order to make the download function work,
and there is only one version, in my case a pdf ebook.
and just listing doesn't work,
the attribute has to be set through the input fields for the download to pass to the cart.
This Mod will list "Version: *your attribute text*" and set a hidden field for the value,
if there is only one version,
and will create the default heading and drop-down box if there's more than one attribute.
This is just on the product info page.
The behavior of options/attributes on other pages isn't changed by this Mod.
My own install is much different as I've heavily edited the product_info page for look&feel.
It is so nice that I pulled up the osCommerce 2.2-MS2 clean version
and marked it for others to use.
just change the lines below, it's easy, one section, one file.
I zipped in a fresh product_info.php in case you have a clean install (haha)
then you can just upload the new file and you're done.
usual disclaimers, use at your own risk,
works on clean install, yadayada.
Have fun with it!" |
