submit their URLs to the Google index and receive detailed reporting about crawl
behavior and page visibility.
Google Sitemaps enable you to keep Google
automatically informed about all of your URLs. By keeping Google constantly
informed about updates and changes to your pages you can improve accuracy and
coverage during the Google crawl. Google Sitemaps provide an easy way for
osCommerce store owners to submit all of their store products to Google.
Sitemaps have to be submitted in a special .XML
format in order to be accepted by Google. Once submitted, you will be able to
track Query, -Crawl and Index stats in addition to Page analysis conveniently by
logging into your Google account.
The 4th
and final contribution included in SEO Pack I will
automatically generate an .XML file of your sitemap and provide you with a link
so you can submit your .XML sitemap directly to Google. All you need to do is
click the link and follow Google's sitemap verification procedure upon
submission of your sitemap.xml file.
