"This payment module, if enabled from the admin, gives people an option of having a "free" payment of their purchase. What the module does is check the shopping cart's total.
If the grand total is anything other then 0.00, the module will dynamically disable itself for that purchase so that it doesn't show up to the user. If the total is 0.00, then it will remain enabled and give the end user an option to proceed through the checkout free of charge.
This module is useful if you want to give away some free items that still require registration but also want to sell items with your osCommerce installation, if they takes just the free things, this option will let them get through the checkout, but if they have items that cost money (even if they also have free items in their cart) they will still have to pay." |
