This mod collects email addresses that are entered in Tell A Friend page. Currently only collects, no additional features are implemented to use the possibilities.
Why do you need it? Well, because a lot of people don't register and You need the information what actually interests potential customers.
The mod was done on osCommerce 2.2-CVS Daily Snapshots (06/01/2003), however it should work on all other versions too.
In order to install manually:
-----------------------------
1) Extract ZIP to some directory.
2) Copy file tell_a_friend.php to "catalog" directory (notice the case of the file name).
3) Execute provided SQL to create table "emails_sent".
That's it, enjoy.
