"Check Order Status Contribution
by Steel Shadow - 9/13/05
steelshadow@geocities.com
http://rebelstyle.com

I have created this contribution because of the numerous people that continually, either email
or call (or both) asking what the status of their order is. We have also gotten quite a few
people asking what the statuses mean, like "processing", "pending" etc. Although all you have
to do is go to the website log in and then click on General Information to find out an order
status, people are not just understanding this, are only looking at the email invoice that was
sent to them, or are just too lazy to look for the place where their order status is listed.
Whatever the reason, this contribution makes it VERY easy for people to check their order
status, and find out what they mean. It puts an icon in the header, adds a link on the header tool bar, and provides a link in the Order Invoice and Order Update that the customer receives, all leading to the Customers Order Status. There is also a link to a JavaScript pop up window on the Order Status page with the definitions of the statuses listed. Also make sure that in the
"Admin Section" of osCommerce under "Configuration" "E-Mail Options" "Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails" the value is set to "TRUE"
