"The Category Fields contribution is a rework of Products Extra Fields by Max Grabowski. This contribution allows you to add extra fields (input or text) to the admin/categories.php products edit page on a per category basis. This gives a far wider range of description options for different types of products within their own categories or sub categories.
Extra fields can be added by following the link from admin>>catalog>>category fields.
